The LRD project deals with the stochastic modeling of the random distribution of the loss ratios. The loss ratio is the ratio of repair cost to the replacement value of a building in case of a damage from natural disaster.
The aim of the LRD project is to formulate an efficient and reasonable distribution model, which can be easily implemented in a vulnerability model. The model should perform with just a few parameters and should be universal and flexible.
